First and only call for papers

The 2011 Australian Geothermal Energy Conference is seeking extended abstracts on the following themes:

  • Towards demonstrating flow
  • Advanced modelling
  • Improving conversion efficiency (including ground source heat pumps)
  • Regulation and legislation (including environment and community)
  • Investment and finance
  • Drilling Technologies

  • This is the first and only call for extended abstracts. Extended abstracts must be submitted by 27 June 2011 and are expected to be no more than six pages in length, using the template provided and conforming to the instructions detailed on the conference website. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the technical committee.

    Please note that the submission and selection of a paper is an indication of a commitment to attend the conference. If a paper is selected at least one author must attend the 2011 Australian Geothermal Energy Conference to present the paper, and will be required to register at standard rates.

    Instructions for extended abstract submission

    • Use the Microsoft Word template provided
    • Include figures submitted as separate files in addition to embedding in document
    • Ensure the extended abstract is edited and reviewed before submission
    • Complete the author’s checklist
